Can you create a customised look?
Yes. If you are prepared to pay for the extra work involved we have a designer that can create a completely customised skin. Here is an example >
Can I have an input to the colour scheme and layout of the starter package?
Absolutely. Although there is a limit to the design options on the starter package we can change the colours, layout and photos until you are happy with the look. Alternatively if you want a really specific look and have the budget for it we can organise a fully customised skin. See previous answer for more on this.
How long will it take for my new website to be created?
We like to get things completed as quickly as possible so that you can get started with your new website, therefore, we aim to have your site complete within a week. This is dependant on you providing us with all of the information we need.
Can I update my website in the future?
Yes. We can add new features any time you like. Just get in touch and tell us what you need.
Can I use my own plugins?
That really depends. Many plugins can cause problems and conflicts in WordPress and experience has taught us to be cautious about unknown plugins. However, we are here to help you and if we do not have a trusted plugin for your requirements we will look into sourcing one.
Can I have some specialised functionality?
Yes, but this will require extra development and budget. We can access programmers that can make almost anything possible depending on your budget.
Is my website backed up?
Yes. You will be emailed weekly with a full database backup. This will restore the content on your site should you need to, however, the look of the site requires a server backup which is done weekly by our hosting company. If you want extra piece of mind you can ask us to give you a price for a full back up, which we would send to you on DVD for safe keeping.
Additionally, we recommend that you keep offline copies of any content you use including photos, text, video and audio.
Can I use my own hosting to save money?
No sorry. We are a professional company hosting reliable websites and can only use servers that we have control over, and servers that we know to be reliable and setup correctly. It is not cost effective for us to set-up your website on your own hosting; it has always caused problems in the past and therefore we do not offer that service.
Where will my site be hosted?
Your site will be hosted either in the UK or USA. As a company we have a number of hosting options for our clients and will use the best option for each scenario. The majority of our sites are hosted at Blue Square Data Services Ltd., Blue Square House, Maidenhead, UK.

My website has alerts to say that it needs updates… do you do this?
Yes. We take care of all updates. You need to be careful with WordPress as there are many elements being updated all of the time. We avoid excessively updating as conflicts can occur that may harm your website. We will periodically update all of your software when we know that any potential conflict and bugs have been eradicated.
I clicked on an update and my site is gone… what shall I do?
Don’t panic. We are experienced at problem solving in these situations and can sort this out. Get in touch immediately and tell exactly what you did before disaster struck.
